Our acquisition strategy.
The Midwest Opportunity Fund invests in small-to-medium-sized businesses where
we believe a real marketplace need exists for the companies' goods and services. These are existing
and ongoing businesses in a cross-section of industries, likely but not limited to Manufacturing,
Distribution and Technology. Typically, the businesses are mature and located in the Midwestern
United States. To be considered by the Fund, your business will have a significant operational history
available for analysis and a management team in place. Portfolio Companies will include some or all of
the following characteristics:
- Serves the business-to-business marketplace
- Ownership looking to develop an exit strategy, or looking for help in a key
business area in which the Fund Principals and Managers can provide a solution
and add value. These resources may include:
- Finance/Cost Controls
- Sales/Marketing
- Management
- Involved in sustainable markets or industries where consistent returns are
achievable over the life of the company

The Midwest Opportunity Fund will:
- Invest in your company by providing capital to allow it to grow and bring
your vision for the company to fruition. Invest in all areas of the company, including training and mentoring, adding to the facilities and hiring additional staff where needed
- Provide opportunities for your children and your management to continue to grow with the company if this is your desire
- Provide opportunities for your children or other key people to participate
and grow in other Midwest Opportunity Fund companies if this is a desired goal
- Allow you to focus on what you are best at while we take on the day-to-day
burdens, including finances, marketing and operations
